This page explains what information iOPTN collects through this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to ioptn.com while iOPTN is in its waitlist phase. We’ll publish a fuller policy when the product launches.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the information you give us in the form:
- Your email address (required).
- Your name and company, if you choose to provide them.
- Whether you joined as a job seeker or an employer.
When you submit the form, our server also records:
- The date and time of the submission.
- The IP address the request came from and the browser user-agent string.
- The referring page, if your browser sent one.
Why we collect it
- To let you know when iOPTN opens.
- To understand who’s interested (job seekers vs. employers) so we can prioritize what to build first.
- To prevent abuse of the signup form.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Where it’s stored
Waitlist entries are stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the US West (Oregon) region. AWS acts as our data processor.
Who sees it
Today, only our incubator/outsourcing firm staff at LeveragedIQ have access. We will not pass your information to any third party except where required by law, or to AWS as our hosting provider.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or analytics SDKs. The site loads only its own HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images. Your browser may store a basic session if you submit the waitlist form, but no tracking cookie is set.
Your choices
- Remove your information. Email us and ask to be removed from the waitlist; we’ll delete your row.
- See what we have. Email us and ask for a copy of the data tied to your email address.
- Update what we have. Email us with the change and we’ll apply it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
